A GIS User reacts to customer and industry changes and provides solutions that are requested. A GIS Difference Maker anticipates the changes of the industry and customer needs to lead them to unknown solutions and becomes a force multiplier for their community. We will use AI to travel back in time to 4 pivotal turning points of my 24-year GIS career to show my actions to change from GIS user to GIS Difference Maker and how this transition had a significant impact on my life and the lives of people in my community. I will also provide strategies and techniques that I have learned and improved to help you make this transition if you believe you are destined for GIS greatness in your community.
