Data in ArcGIS Online that are public, large, or receive high volumes of traffic can benefit from specific settings and workflows to optimize performance. This presentation reviews hosted feature service settings including extent, editing, optimize layer drawing, and indexes. Hosted feature service views are then discussed as a way to facilitate data sharing and update processes. Finally, an overview of specific settings that are important for high traffic layers will be provided.
